Description
The Metallophone is an instrument consisting of metal bars being struck by mallets. Each bar is tuned to a specific pitch of a musical scale. Different versions of this instrument have been used in music for hundreds of years, but more recently, the word "metallophone" has sometimes been applied more specifically to a single row of metal bars suspended over a resonator box.
